Yosshh… My best fren says I’m a pretty miserable fella in my blog. Hahah, mayb coz I used this blog to express my disgruntlement at everything life throws at me. =P Kla, time for a cheery entry.

Just finished my exams yesterday. Wahahahahahahah mochiron A desuyo! I smiled throughout the paper.. Coz I know exactly what to write! Wahahaha.. But, er, still got mistakes, hehe three careless ones and one I totally dont know the answer to(!). Fuiyo, the teech was really trying to con us man! But, all the same, I love her for who she is. Cheers to Ms Sakatako! Hahah, she’d kill me if she knows I wrote her nick here. =P

We went out for a drink to celebrate our "victory" =P after that and I caught a BAD gastric problem and had to leave early. Yeesshhh, just when I was planning on a great freedom celebration. Neeways, I had to get up early today also. Got a great fren’s wedding dinner to attend in M’ca. We r tinking of gg down for lunch then do a bit of sight-seeing. Heheh, more updates later on.

Bad Day

Trashcan No Longer!

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

After a lousy morning and even lousier afternoon, I was having a leisure walk back to office with my colleague, J when he asked me how long I had been working in our co.. I’d say, time sure flies! Its been loonngg…

I was still in lala land; thinking mayb I’m still a fresh grad, new and inexperienced. So much so tat I can escape special work assignments (read=trash).. =P

However, to my dismay, I realised that my time in the co has been sufficiently long enough to warrant interesting responsibilites (read=rubbish). Hence, I’m a trashcan no longer. I’m a fullfledged DUMP-SITE! Cheers to my promotion (self-given)!

Thanks J for the reminder that I am no longer young and fresh! =P (hey, i’m not saying i’m a fruit here, ok?) I’m cured of my misconseption tat all maggots get dumped on my desk…

They actually have a map to find their way to my desk!! Err, which isnt too sweet smelling either; considering it belongs to a dump-site. Lol.

Bring it on!! All the unsavoury, downright stinky work… for this dump-site will take all the refuse and recycle it into something pleasant to the environment! How’s tat for DB spirit? *bleh*

Angeline The Trashcan

Monday, November 14th, 2005

Hehhe, i kinda like the sound of this title.. Hullo, I’m Angeline, the Trashcan.. Anything you’ll like to dump, pls dump it on me. =P

Yeah, another crappy day. :o( Felt like a trashcan, lotsa unwanted work found its way to my desk.. Hmmm, I wonder how? Maybe coz I have a penchant for the impossible or the difficult which is why you cant always c me at my desk. It can be due to :

1.  I’m away on the shopfloor sorting out my latest mess.

2.  I’m burried by my tons of paperwork.

3.  I’m out sick with a cold (hint : stress related).

4.  I’m running away from a certain guy called Mr P who is the most persistant guy I’ve ever met! If he was a suitor, I’d probably hang myself! Thank goodness he’s not, else, a thousand deaths would not be sufficient. *grins*

5.  I’m to stressed out that I locked myself in the toilet. =P

Anyone of the above applies except for the last one. Hehehe, never had a luxury toilet time these few days. Always have someone at the door waiting to use the toilet.. Which brings me to another dillema, NOT ENOUGH LAIDIES’ TOILET! We have 4 ladies toilet which are usable; but 1 is OUT-OF-BOUNDS for ppl like me. Only reserved for special ppl; like the Directors’ Sec. And… only the Sec.

Neeways, I’m so glad that I’m still alive after the recent fiasco with the US ppl. Guess what? They were surprisingly cooperative; trying to SOLVE problems. Unlike someONE from my own sista co. in Malaysia (just a couple of blocks away); who THROWS his weight around =P; who has a penchant for pointing fingers at people.

It doesnt matter whether the communication broke down or not; what matters is that we fix that gaping hole in our ceiling before the whole thing caves in on us! But did tat matter? NOOO! Someone has to get his ass FRIED for that gaping hole 1st! Doesnt matter if the ceiling falls (the sky is falling!), most important is that we hang the culprit!

Sheeshh..

What a spoiler to a great weekend! I took up the apron on saturday and cooked up my "Spagetthi ala Asian".. My preparations for cooking, as shown below. Pls note the basinfull of chopped tomatoes which gives my sauce such a zing.. Yum yum..

Rimg0824My bro liked it so much, he took three helpings for dinner - 1st helping on macaronies, 2nd on rice, 3rd on macaronies again.. I am amazed at the capacity of his stomach but am mighty pleased that I cooked something he liked to eat.. Well, one of the reasons I picked up the saucepan was for him.. The other was my mom, she was away for the week to somewhere fun and cold for her management training and was back on Fri. I thought she might miss some homecooked food. The third reason being my Aunt, she’s also back for the weekend and she loves pasta! The fourth was my Gramma who’s havin toothache; this is soft enough for her to chew without hurtin her gums.

1 day countdown to Sudden Death

Wednesday, November 9th, 2005

*Bleh.. bleh… bleh…* Just found out from my director that I’m required to attend a followup meeting for the !@#$ machine that I helped design for a foreign market. The stupid machine that had to be flown by air to US!! Hmm.. I havent even stepped on American soil yet, and what I helped to design got a first class DHL seat in the airplane! Anyway… that machine is now in the US, operating fine.. But our reps require some follow up documents (Hmm? Some redundancy here on their part, as we had already provided them these stuff.. Now they want sommore?  (=_=))

Guess who’s comin to visit me in my worst nightmare?! Yep! One of the guys whom I’ve sent the "love" mail to expressing my "satisfaction" on the way they feed us (factory) information. He’s coming to bambu me on my ability to provide a "nice" looking instruction manual? =P  Hmm, I smell a heavy scent of gasoline in the air…

Neeways, no. of days to sudden death : 1

Tsumaranai! Nani o shitte iru ii?

Hmm.. I thought I would have a slow holiday this few days. A booorrriiinnggg morning yesterday allowed me to update my blog which my frens <complained> said were lackin in posts. Expecting a slow relaxing day ahead, I was surprised that it didnt turn out to be what I expected.

I changed my artist’s cap (my previous job two days ago as an ID) with an apron and became…. Housewife!! Hahahah…. I just did some cooking and cleaning ard the house. FYI, I can cook! Some frens tot I differentiate a saucepan from a wok esp my colleagues.. so =P

Neeways, after my gourmet lunch, I met up my ex-colleagues for some "sinful" cake for tea. There goes my diet! Hahah, not tat I adhered to it anyway. =P It was lovely meeting those frens whom I had not seen (some for 2 years!), man does time flies! Cheers ppl! We need more get-togethers! Mr Keng didnt change much; he was still the artistic guy (wif long flowing hair; i envied). Mr Eu didnt change much either, just as witty, just as wise. Whereas Mr Tiong! Hahah, he got a bit prosperous since I last saw him! Wif gf in tow, he is obviously a happy man.

After my diet-killing meal, I met another group; my ex-uni mates for dinner. Hehehe, a big group; proabably coz all of them except two brought their significant other. It was a bit quiet at 1st. But not for long! With my dear fren Mr Banana, no evening is a boring evening. He was the limelight! Jokes galore and wit to match! Mr Pik wasnt so bad either in the jokes (albeit them being a bit sarcastic) department. Mr Kin was slightly more matured than the rest of us, so sitting wif him gave me a bit of soberness (!), if not I would be giddy old me. Its a pity Ms Chia couldnt join us, else our group would be complete.. Err.. I forgot another person. Mr Chee (but tat guy’s so far away, if he does join us, all our jaws will drop!). Ms Soo was a replendent Mrs.. sitting comfortably wif dear hubby at the corner. Mr Chun was as usual, quiet.. But when he spoke; which was only when necessary; it was either extremely witty or totally hillarious! A great conversationalist; if u get to know him more.

Further on the nite, I went to the local watering hole in Sunway. Hmm.. Not exactly watering as there werent many hunks ard; except those tat went wif me (good save!). Babes were aplenty but as for me, I need some eyecandy too.. And babes jus wouldnt do (=P) It was all music, dancing and drinking throughout. We toasted and danced till our legs ache (Okay, corny expression to use). I got to know a few good ppl there. One gal was so good in dancing I wanted to ask her to teach me a few moovveees but hehehe.. I was a bit shy *giggle*.. One guy had naturally blond hair (him being a pure chinese)? Hmm.. I donno if my fren was pulling my leg or not. But, it wasnt blond, more brown actually.

The next day I met up wif my ex-roommate and her bf. I hadnt c-n them for two months and they were very genki! Drank sommore till my bladders were near bursting! Heheh. My dear rommie looked like a blushing bride.. err, except tat they were not gettin married till next year; and guess what?! I’m gonna be her bridesmaid! Heheh, wat an honour!

All in all, an absolutely wonderful holiday! Cheers to more ahead!

Saying I do

Thursday, November 3rd, 2005

This day was another beezzz day for mua as me uncle and aunt and kids dropped by my place for lunch. They’d just flew in from Miri yesterday and were extremely excited to c us. The kids especially. Haha, I’ve always had a knack for attracting the young ‘uns. Hmm, mayb it’s my "angelic" face (Wahaha, someone hit me pls!). I guess it’s coz i look young.. =P

After lunch, my parents left for a church retreat and my unc + co. left for Midvalley. As for mua; i had to don the apron and scrub and clean.. Sniff sniff. But it was fun havin ppl over. Shd play host more often.

After tat, I zoomed to KL to attend my frens weddin. Lugging the very heavy projector with me. I was abt 15 mins early for the weddin ceremony (er, not early enuf). We had problems connecting the projector to the laptop. The %$#&* thing kept showing "NO SOURCE FOUND". Cold sweat was drippin from mua face when the 10 mins countdown started and we still couldnt get online. Then, I shot a quick prayer to my BIG BOSS up there; begging Him to allow the stupid thing to work. Everyone’s waiting.. Tick tock, more cold sweat, more restarting, tick tock… Finally the owner of the laptop struck a key on the keyboard which sent the desktop image blazooning on the white screen! Whew!! Thank you, Lord!

Everything went on smoothly after that.. From the "Do u take this woman as your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health …" to the "I do"s, this wedding was one beautiful affair.. Sighh (love struck face =P). My Pastor’s wife was joking to me saying that she’ll intro me to some short fat guy if I dont show up with a boyfren in tow to the church service by next year. Talk about being scary! Hahah, I wasnt the only one who got teased thou; YLing was also another victim. Her’s would be a tall thin guy.. =P

Anyways, wonderful wedding; and may I add great deco! Wahahaha (giving myself much pride!). Okay ppl, who needs an ID for their wedding? Give mua a call! I wont charge much.. =P

I had such a great time! Was even given a bouquet flowers (delight!). If my dad and bro didnt take all the digi cams away with them on their (different) outings; I would take a pic of the beautiful daisies and roses and show every one! Sigh, but u’ll just have to be contented with my description of it.

Food, glorious food!!

Had an extremely wonderful saturday! Beezzz like a celebrity person (lemme daydream here, will ya?). Had appointments the whole day.. =P

Meeting at 10am, church deco at 2pm and dinner at 7.30pm.. All at different places! Woah.. Talk about time management! Fuiyohh.. I didnt even know I could manage tat. Now i know tat i’m capable of packing all my schedules all at once!

My fren will be havin her weddin tomolo at 4pm and yesterday i changed my profession from air-cond designer to interior designer!! Wahahah.. I felt a wave of ahhh! Hehe, my taste wasnt so bad, after all, i did decide on the overall theme.. Anyone wanna c my work of art, do come over to Gospel Hall near Jalan Hang Jebat, KL tomolo.. =P

Finished abt 5.30pm; zoomed towards home for my dinner appointment. Took a quick shower (5 mins! Anyone who knows me well shd know tat I dont bathe so fast.. *grins*), slapped on some paint and viola! Heheh.. all that under 15 mins. My colleagues were at the door by then. We had to wait another 10 mins for our lovely driver to pick us up in his black sedan; so I did wat was natural to me. Offered them ice-cream! Hahah.. Driver wasnt so bad either; he got a cup of blueberry youghurt.

Their task was to eat & drive, and moi… Hehehe, to navigate.. I can c afew raised eyebrows here. Might I add, I’m my daddy’s daughter? Err.. but at the Proton juction we had some complications.. We didnt know whether to follow Bkt Rimau or Kota Kemuning… So, we took the left turn and then made a U-turn =P. Heheh, wrong turning! But the sweet driver wasnt angry wif me; hehe, who could stay angry wif me at the passenger seat? *wink wink*

Neeways, to cut the long story short, the car I was in reached the rally point the lastest and joined the strangly group of cars towards Port Klang. The head of the procession was a nice red Iswara, followed by 4 other cars, all driving below 70kmh?! I know, we r road hogging; but no worries, we were at the leftest lane. Hahah, but the journey was worth it coz the food! It’s glorious!

On our menu was Tom Yum prawns, two dishes of crabs (Sweet and sour & some blackish stuff - err, donno the name), salt baked chicken, seafood beehoon, fried sotong (can see some of u clearing yr throat.. hehhe), some veg, and the worst dish of all was Hokkien mee! Never, never try Hokkien mee! It tasted chemical. I was such a stingy-poker that I asked the waitress to give us a discount on the barely touched plate of black noodles (never had a passion for this type of noodles).. Hehhe, she did give us … a RM10 discount! Harharhar.. not much but, at least i told the management they needed to change their brand of yellow noodles. *bleh*
